Hunter made the JV baseball team and needless to say, we get to spend a ton of time outside. He is doing very well and having so much fun!!

Also - my tulip tree's are all in bloom! Yes - I do have several different colors. I love all of them!!!

Lillith "AKA - Lily" is almost done. This is a knit along with Dawn. I had to catch up with her as she only sleeps 1 hour a night. I honestly think she knits in her sleep!! Next is the Debbie Bliss pleated scarf is patiently waiting in the bag...(a lovely lime green from Jo Sharpe). Dawn finished hers and it looks quite YUMMY!!

Birthday celebration with my Girlies!!

Last Saturday- my bestest girlies took me out for the day. It was so pretty out!! Jeannie, Dawn and I met at Pannera Bread at 10:30 for a Brunch, then I got to open gifts from them both. They spoiled me. Jeannie gave me the Scottish Highlands Knit Book snd made me a beautiful card and 2 flowers and Dawn gave me a notepad, kitty stickers, a ankle bracelet for the beach and a beautiful fair isle hat, The Siena Hat, that she had made. They over did it!!

Then on to some LYS in Greensboro that I had not been to. Needless to say - THIS AND THAT in Greensboro is my kind of shop! I bought a pattern and di.vi` Fiamma in a beautiful bue and teal combo to make the Cropped Raglan top, and 2 skeins each of Paca-Paints (100% Superfine Alpaca) in #404 Moonlight and #405 Playful to make something just Prissy!! I also bought a beautiful top as well as they sell not just yarn, but clothes and jewelry and handbags too!! The owner was so sweet and friendly and very helpful!! I will go back very very soon!! We did stop at 2 more, and I got The Second Treasury of Magical Knitting to make kitty beds.

To end the day, a stop at Cold Stone for Chocolate Ice Cream with Butterfinger - my fave!! It was so nice to sit outside and relax!

I had such a great time! Thank you both for my Special Day!! I love you both dearly!!

What am I working on??

I have to say I am IN LOVE WITH SUBLIME!!
Right now I am woking on "Shell" from the Sublime organtic cotton dk book. I love this yarn and have used in on several things....
I am almost done with the front and need to put on the neckband and stitch up sides. It is SOOOO soft!!
