Contest - Name Baby Boy

I am having a contest to name baby boy! He will be here in September. He is a Solid Blue Persian and he will have Golden Yellow Eyes.

The cut off date is August 30, 2007 at 5:00 PM EST.

Be very very creative! Baby Girl is named "Kisa". (Russian for Kitty)
So it needs to be very UNIQUE! No Smokey's or Shadows.

If I choose your name - I will send you a cute sock kit - Bag, pattern and yarn.

Get those names rollin' in!!

"Azul" is Portuguese for "blue", so perhaps some variation thereof? Zuller? Zula?

Going with the foreign language theme, Sombra is spanish for shadow. That's my suggestion!

Or how about Farsi which is the Persain word for Persian. Sounds funny I know but hey I don't make these things up LOL. Good luck with finding a name.

Blue kitties are gorgeous!

He looks like a little fuzzy lion to me so I'm suggesting "Ari" which means "lion" in Hebrew and which comes from the longer "Ariel". Ari is a boy's name and Ariel is both boy and girl.

I would love to help, but I have never named a cat until I have learned his/her personality and how they interact with me and my family. Sometimes the first thing that pops into the thoughts with the first cuddle helps guide as well. It has taken me a couple of weeks in some cases as well, but I have a Missy, Sparky, Bubba, Girlie and Velcro in residence :).

Oh, he's cute! The first thing that came to my mind when I saw his pic was "Azure"

Speaking as a fiber freak, I'd suggest "Spindle", especially considering the way kittens hold their tails straight up. Or "Sinatra", if you want to stick with the blue theme... He's definitely a cutie!

OMG that is the CUTEST kitty ever!! SQUEE!!! Ok, how about Abi which is Farsi for "blue" or Gorbeh which is Farsi for cat. That is if you want to take the "Persian" route. Good Luck!!!!

How about "Poussiere"? It's French for 'dust'.

That is the cutest kitty, ever! It makes me actually want to get a cat and I'm not a cat person! :D

Hm, how about Kyanos? It's Greek for blue. Or how about Noir? The smoky look to him makes me think of a smoky film noir.

OMG, beautiful!
Now, I was going to suggest Azul, but that was already guessed...so, how about:
1) Zukua (Hebrew for shadow or shade)
2) Gatto (cat in Italian - did you ever have to sing "El Senor Don Gatto was a cat" in grade school chorus??!!)
3) Hiroshi (Japanese for giving)

In Finnish "cat" is "kissa" - or "katti". However, I think she couldn't possibly be "Kissa" because it's too close to "Kisa". In German, "Schmusi" would be something like "softy" - but it's a little bit difficult to write ;) so I suggest "Katti". It's pronounced like "cuttti" with a long, sharp T in the middle.
