Well - as I said after New Years, I got new Furniture. It came in March.

I also re-did a bedroom into a knit-knook! See what I treated myself too....I got me a TV too!!

So I ended up with 2 new spots!!

Susan Zanni - the Parisian Tote Queen

Knit Picky (the LYS in Winston-Salem, NC) had Susan Zanni (One of my faves)come to teach a class on her Parisian Totes and short cuts and tips for doing her things...

I won't tell the secrets, but she is a HOOT!!

I had "Thelma and Louise" with me in the class as well! Speaking of HOOTS!! (Very bad picture of me...)

It was a great class and her bags are just beautiful! She is from Rochester NY and her shop is The Yarne Source. Check her out.

I have done 2 of her bags and have yarn for 2 more... Wait and see what I have coming!!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder....

Did you miss me??

There has been so much to happen in the past 2 months.

My sweet husband gave me the most wonderful gift, the flu - But I decided to return it and gave it back. It took me a couple weeks to get over that.

Finished some remodeling.

New Furniture.

8th grade field trip to DC - had a BLAST!! I really want to go back and spend more time there. We saw the sites and even had a dance party on a boat on the Potomac

New Years eve......

Boy - We miss Hunter!! No running him anywhere. No - Can you wash this before my date? No - Can I have some money ? Needless to say --- It is TOO QUIET!!!

So what does this wild and crazy couple do on New Years????????

We went furniture shopping and bought new furniture and then to Hooters for Buffalo Shrimp and Starbucks and home by 6:15---- YAHOO WHAT A NIGHT!!

(furniture will be here in 6 weeks - I will post pictures then. I even got a NEW KNITTING CHAIR!!!!)

I am glad 2007 is over....

As you all know - 2007 was a very rough year for me emotionally and physically.

Losing 2 of my precious babies and my surgery and the new babies numerous surgeries because the F'n vet is a pure lying A-hole and getting ready for a court battle with Hunter's dad has basically taken all santity from me.

I know everything happens for a reason and that each thing that comes up in our life is a test to see how we can handle it. Boy 2007 has really put me to the test!!

Losing 2 of my boys and a surgery with in 30 days was quite a test. It is still hard and I think of them numerous times a day and miss them and still cry. With that - we were also brought 2 new ones to love. They are both so sweet and we love them.

Through it all - Wayne was right there with me through the tears and the pain and sleepless nights. He is my strength and my soul mate and I love him with all my heart!!

I have to say - I am glad 2007 is over!!

The Tale of the Pissed Off Puddies.......

Poor, Poor Puddie-tats!

Needless to say, they spent their first night away from home Monday night. No -- it was not a plush kitty resort soaking up rays and drinking milk out of bowls with little umbrellas. No...it was not that at all.

Both Loki and Sunny spent the "Dreaded" stay at the vet to be declawed and their "Pride" worked on!! We had both fixed. Yes, they are pissed at me!! They would not hardly even look at me to get their pictures made in their cute "lampshade" collars. They look so ashamed and pissed.

Apparently - the little devil came out in Loki while there as well and decided--"You have to hold me better than that to stick a thermometer up my rear!" He apparently "Latched" onto the assistants skin. I warned him that he is a little fiesty. Loki kept messing with his and made his paw bleed, so he is in a collar.

Sunny, of course, was sweet Sunny. Flop him around like a sack of taters or a wet noodle. Sunny kept jumping up on stuff, so he in in a collar too!

Kisa is mad and pouting cause she can't be with them. Her is a Poutyy Puss!!

Don't they look happy..... I will sleep with one eye open from now on.....
