- I have only been knitting for about 2 1/2 years. I was taught by a friend in my office to make scarves who is left handed. Somewhere-- I picked up, between her teaching me backwards, to completely knitting Continental. I am still learning new tricks all the time.I have only been able to do a cable since October 2006 with thanks to Jo and Susan at Knit Picky!!

How exciting!
I checked mine one day and I had about 600 people ahead of me, so I figured it'd be another three or four days, then the very next day I got my invite! Look me up, I'm knitkenzie. Yay for Ravelry!!
Congrats! I'm hoping mine comes within 2 weeks.. I've got 641 ahead of me now.
